Bevo Francis at Madison Square Garden, December 3, 1953 vs. Adelphi College.
Bevo Francis and Rio Grande College take on Bluffton College at Founder's Hall, December 11th, 1953. Francis scores 82 points before the largest crowd ever to assemble in the building and re-enters the NCAA Record Book with the highest number of points in a single game. Within two months he will score 113 points in JAckson, Ohio against Hillsdale College - the NCAA Record that remains to this date. Bevo Francis is the only player in the history of the game to score more than 100 points in a game - and he did it twice.
